What has become of us?

WE, the people, governed ourselves into bankruptcy, decline and division. Treason is the new ‘democracy’. We nullified the Constitution. Waste, fraud, abuse and failure is now 'Standard Operating Procedure'. Corruption became our new American business model. Violence replaced cooperation. Representative government has failed. How did this happen?
