We all need to review the Tragedy of the Commons.

Remember: One man's waste, fraud and abuse is another man's livelihood. It doesn’t harm the digger if the ditch is dug and also refilled. He gets paid twice - removing and refilling. If you build bridges to nowhere the builders gets paid. The idea is to increase demand by spending money. Such waste increases GDP but eventually lowers the general living standard.

The Department of Government Efficiency uncovered significant instances of waste, fraud and abuse. Even philanthropy has become a vehicle of corruption.

‪ What has not been 'weaponized' in our degrading Social Contract?!  Does anyone else wonder why criminals are now routinely released without punishment to repeat offenses? Is this simply ‘poor judgement’ by judges ... or could it be by design?  In our growing Culture War : Why not also weaponize crime and use criminals for political ends? Is that really so inconceivable?
