Whatever happened to the US Constitution?

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government." --Ayn Rand

This is no longer the case. Today's federal government is almost entirely unconstitutional.

Now government prescribes the conduct of individuals in almost all aspects of life. We, the People no longer rule ourselves. It should be obvious, then, that the vast majority of federal expenditures are not authorized by the Constitution; as such, they are prohibited and unconstitutional. (Click here for more)
