Politics As Usual
- is it -
? Cooperation or Exploitation?

Politics = Exploitation

"none of the promises that have been made to you will be kept.

This includes explicit promises to provide income security and healthcare entitlements, etc., and implicit promises that don't need to be stated: a currency that holds its value, high-functioning public infrastructure, etc." (see here)

Those promises are unattainable. The “New American Dream” looks more like the WEF’s “you’ll own nothing and be happy.” (Click here for more on the WEF)

Exploitation of people by governments is not hard to find. New York is particularly adept in this regard. Take the NYS Thruway as an example.

"First off, the State promised in 1954, upon the opening of the thruway, that the bond would be paid off in 1996…at which time the state claimed that the tolls would disappear. Unfortunately, for the citizens of NYS, an entire institution grew around the thruway and it became a cash cow for the state."

So, SURPRISE!, tolls did not end, as promised, once those bonds were retired. They went up instead.

As with the NYS Thruway, costs will go up while benefits will not. Where are those 'solutions' governments promised at great cost? Two of the most costly federally legislated 'benefit' initiatives are classic examples of getting less while paying more - Social Security and health care. How 'great' did those Great Society Programs turn out for the country? Did the War on Poverty end poverty? Has the Department of Education improved education outcomes? Has the War On Drugs worked? Wherever one looks results are disappointing at best. People will begin to notice. Then they will begin to question.

Your pension is a lie. The League of California Cities release a report last month finding that “rising pension costs will require cities over the next seven years to nearly double the percentage of their general fund dollars they pay to CalPERS”? The report also found that “for many cities, pension costs will dramatically increase to unsustainable levels.” (see here) California is no exception.

New York City Pensions Are Still in Crisis

Democrats and Republicans have legislated decline. A shrinking economic pie is the new reality for most Americans. The standard of living for Americans has fallen longer and more steeply over the past three years than at any time since the US government began recording it five decades ago. (Click here for more)

"I see the liberty of the individual ... as the necessary condition for the flowering of all the other goods that mankind cherishes: moral virtue, civilization, the arts and sciences, economic prosperity. Out of liberty, then, stem the glories of civilized life.” Murray Rothbard
