Right now we are bombarded with news reports of people in crisis from all over the globe:

• People suffer in bankrupt Greece.
• Economic difficulties have been reported for years in Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Cyprus.
• There are troubles in Ukraine and other places around the Caspian Sea.
• Sunni and Shiite Muslims are killing each other.
• Kurds are fighting Muslims.
• Palestinians are fighting Israel.
• Muslim fight Christians in places like Kosovo, and South East Asia.
• Hoards of illegal immigrants are overrunning economically fragile European countries.
• Civil and religious wars take place in Africa.
• Frictions have grown over control of islands in the South China Sea.
• North Korea has increased saber rattling in the Far East.
• Closer to the US we see Mexico influenced and perhaps run by drug cartels.
• Brazil is in political turmoil for fiscal melt down.
• Venezuela moves to hyper-inflation.
• The Canadian dollar loses value threatening a lower quality of life.
