If government is “of, by and for the people”, why do so many people complain about government? If government is accountable to “We, the People”, why are so many dissatisfied with the results? Is it all a sham?

Government makes laws. Laws create privileges for some and steal inalienable rights from others in the process. Laws steal choices. They prohibit and limit choices for some people and make you obey someone else’s choices. It’s like being told where to sit on the bus. Laws make you do things you would not want to do if you were free. Was it meant to be this way? What can be more valuable than choice?

The latest diktat from Albany limits political speech and choice. Why is this happening now? It’s because other political parties are gaining voter support. Three gained balot status. Such interference will not be allowed by the ruling duopaly. How is political choice being further limited? With laws that makes it much more difficult for new political parties to compete and with 'public’ campaign finance to get taxpayers to pay for election campaigns of the existing 'publicly financed' corrupt and unwanted system. How clever! New laws make opposition and competition disappear. It supresses dissent. It removes inconvenient political voices by limiting choices. What do you have when you have no choice?

If you follow ‘the rules’ you lose. If government is your problem the solution is to not follow the rules. Don’t let frustrations be 'disappeared' by a rigged system. Find another way to dissent.

The Yellow Vest movement started in France. Many people demonstrated resistance to unwanted French government edicts in a peaceful way. Those Yellow Vests could not be ignored. Buy one and wear it proudly. Give one to a disillusioned friend or dissatisfied relative. Paint your world yellow. Perhaps you will no longer be ignored.
