People may be called on to take sides and have the courage to take a stand during this politial upheaval. Don't expect to delegate this responsibilty to someone else (cops) or something else (government).

In a condition of anarchy the law is impotent. That is the meaning of anarchy. Anarchy is the absence of law. Anarchists voluntarily act in defiance of law to advance their objectives. Their actions are not just random and impromptu. They are commited to their goals. They assume responsibility. They don’t delegate it. “This is not about reform. If BLM supporters ignore the rules why must other people obey them? If anonymous Antifa stormtroopers attack at will why would anyone else agree to stay obediently passive? If the NYC mayor doesn’t need a permit to make his political point why would anyone else?

Mao wrote the manual on insurgency. “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” But other kinds of force can be applied as well: intimidation; "doxing"; threats of force; looting; burning; vandalism; etc. Anything that reduces quality of life, increases fear, or extract costs on the political target can reduce resistance, increase opportunity, induce cooperation, or coopt the target for the cause. It is not crazy to think government officials in places like Portland or Seattle have already been intimidated.

Those who oppose the goals of anarchists must also act. Augusto Pinochet wrote the manual on counter-insurgency. To win against an insurgency requires a counter-insurgency. It requires organization, action plans, tactics, training, targets, overwhelming force, and most importantly - the will to win. Watch Antifa/BLM operations & learn. Then do. Think organized crime tactics because insurgency is organized crime. So is counter-insurgency. Both ignore/reject The Law. Yet both seek to become The Law.
